Alyssa is a key member of MAYDAY Recruitment Group’s Offshore Business Support team, where she plays a vital role in driving operational efficiency across Marketing, Compliance, Project Management, and Business Administration. With a dynamic and adaptable approach, Alyssa wears many hats in the business and is known for her ability to work across a wide range of projects with precision, proactivity, and professionalism.

Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Alyssa has always been fascinated by human behaviour and the intricacies of personal and professional development. Her academic background has shaped her empathetic and people-focused work style, helping her build strong, meaningful relationships and contribute to a positive team culture.

She began her career in Human Resources as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Fujitsu GDC, where she honed her skills in sourcing talent and stakeholder engagement. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for back-end operations and administrative support — a space where she thrives by staying organised, streamlining processes, and making a tangible impact behind the scenes.

Since joining MAYDAY, Alyssa has embraced every opportunity to expand her skillset and has confidently stepped into a leadership role, managing a team of two and supporting business initiatives across multiple departments. Her role extends several functions, where she plays a vital part in driving cross-functional processes – from streamlining internal workflows, managing business marketing, to overseeing placement compliance and project coordination. Alyssa thrives in fast-paced environments and is always eager to explore new tools, systems, and strategies to improve efficiency. With a long-term vision of building a well-rounded career in the recruitment industry, she remains committed to continuous learning and growth, all while contributing meaningfully to MAYDAY’s broader business goals.

Outside of work, Alyssa finds joy and balance through her passions – spending quality time with her four dogs, practising yoga, going for a run, diving into a good book, or catching up with friends over cocktails. A lifelong animal lover, she actively supports several animal rescue initiatives in the Philippines and could easily see herself as a Veterinarian had she not pursued the career she has today.
