- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within the Theatre department, ensuring strict adherence to hospital standards, policies, and safety protocols.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, addressing acute situations with expertise and confidence.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to maintain continuity of care and drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist anaesthetists in administering various types of anaesthesia, including general, regional, and local, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Work closely with the anaesthetic and surgical teams to prepare and manage equipment and supplies, ensuring they are sterile, functional, and readily available.
- Monitor patients closely, recognising and responding promptly to intraoperative complications or changes in condition.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience as an Anaesthetic Nurse in a perioperative setting (desirable)
- Current AHPRA registration
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional clinical care in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
