About the role:
- Accurate and timely clinical coding using the current editions of ICD-10-AM and ACHI
- Working within the Health Information Services Department with a strong focus on quality and compliance
- Liaising with clinicians to clarify documentation and support data integrity
- Contributing to ongoing quality improvement and education activities
- Using systems including DOCS, FYDO Logic QC, and Tanda
What we’re looking for:
- Completion of a nationally recognised Clinical Coding course, Bachelor of Health Information Management, or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of Australian Coding Standards
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
- A positive, proactive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality work
