Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care across a 15-bed unit
- Administer medications, monitor observations, and respond to changing patient needs
- De-escalate and manage acute behaviours with confidence and compassion
- Collaborate closely with intake, referral, and multidisciplinary teams
- Evaluate, plan, and document care in line with best practice standards
Ideal Candidate:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in mental health or hospital nursing (desirable but not essential)
- Strong interpersonal and observational skills, with a calm and patient-focused approach
