Key Responsibilities:
Scrub/Scout Nurses:
  • Assist across a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining strict sterile techniques
  • Manage instruments and equipment efficiently to support safe, seamless procedures
  • Ensure perioperative documentation is accurate and complete
Anaesthetic Nurses:
  • Prepare patients and equipment for anaesthetic procedures
  • Monitor patients pre, during, and post anaesthesia
  • Work closely with anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, high-quality care
 
About You:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in either a scrub/scout or anaesthetic nursing role
  • Sound understanding of ACORN standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • Postgraduate qualifications in perioperative nursing (or working towards) highly regarded
  • A collaborative and compassionate approach to patient care
  • Passionate about professional development and contributing to a high-performing team
