Key Responsibilities:
Scrub/Scout Nurses:
- Assist across a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining strict sterile techniques
- Manage instruments and equipment efficiently to support safe, seamless procedures
- Ensure perioperative documentation is accurate and complete
- Prepare patients and equipment for anaesthetic procedures
- Monitor patients pre, during, and post anaesthesia
- Work closely with anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, high-quality care
About You:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in either a scrub/scout or anaesthetic nursing role
- Sound understanding of ACORN standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Postgraduate qualifications in perioperative nursing (or working towards) highly regarded
- A collaborative and compassionate approach to patient care
- Passionate about professional development and contributing to a high-performing team
