About the Role

In this leadership‑pathway position, you’ll support the claims function by overseeing complex assessments, managing escalations, and helping uplift team capability. You’ll work closely with senior leaders while playing a key part in improving processes, supporting training, and ensuring compliance across the claims lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assess, review, and authorise claims in line with policies and industry standards.
• Investigate complex cases and assist with fraud identification.
• Support audits, reporting, compliance, and ongoing process improvements.
• Manage customer escalations with calm, professional problem-solving.
• Provide coaching and on‑the‑job training to team members.
• Assist with dispute management and ensure accurate, compliant documentation.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in claims assessment within insurance, warranty, or similar.
• Strong ability to interpret policy wording, legislation, and complex case detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify technical information.
• A calm, empathetic approach when handling escalations and conflict.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and sound judgement.
• Confidence with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.
