Imagine working in a highly respected regional hospital where your critical care skills are genuinely valued — while living somewhere you can slow down, have more space, and build a great life outside of work.
This is not a stripped-back regional service. The ICU provides care for patients requiring a high level of clinical observation, intervention and support, including patients requiring:
- Mechanical ventilation and other respiratory support
- Non-invasive ventilation
- Complex monitoring and clinical management
- Step-down care following critical illness
- High-dependency and coronary care
- Post-operative and medically complex care
- Permanent full-time or part-time
- NFP salary packaging, plus discounted health insurance and gym memberships
- Paid parental leave
- Ongoing training, development and career progression
- Flexible working arrangements designed to support your lifestyle
More space. More community. More life outside the hospital.
Wagga offers the benefits of regional living without feeling isolated — great schools, sporting facilities, cafés, restaurants, parks and a strong local community. It’s an excellent option for families or anyone looking to escape the pace and cost of metropolitan life while continuing to work in a clinically rewarding environment.
You’ll need:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years’ recent ICU experience
- Confidence caring for critically unwell and ventilated patients
- Strong clinical judgement and teamwork
