We’re currently looking for an experienced Senior Orthoptist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident taking the lead across a busy, dynamic clinic.

The role:
You’ll play a key role in both the clinical and day-to-day running of the practice, including:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and consultations
- Operating advanced diagnostic equipment (IOL Master 700, Zeiss OCT, Humphrey Visual Field, Pentacam, iTrace desirable)
- Assisting with minor procedures (retinal injections, chalazion and lid lesion removals)
- Supporting subspecialty clinics including refractive and dry eye services
- Performing IOL calculations, preparing surgical lists, and managing pre/post-op care
- Triaging patients, supporting audits, and contributing to research activities
- Overseeing clinic flow — managing wait times, coordinating staff, and troubleshooting issues
- Proactively supporting both clinical and admin tasks during quieter periods

- Current Working With Children Check + National Police Check
