A brand-new private hospital on the Sunshine Coast has hit the ground running — and with a busy surgical environment already taking shape, we’re looking for an experienced CSSD Manager to lead the team and play a key role in the continued growth of the service.

The Opportunity
As CSSD Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the CSSD, ensuring high standards across sterilisation, decontamination, instrumentation, compliance and infection prevention.
You’ll be joining a supportive team in a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to help shape processes and culture within a facility that is still in its early stages of growth.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting the CSSD team in a busy private hospital environment
- Overseeing the decontamination, sterilisation and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards, policies and infection prevention requirements
- Managing workflow, staffing, quality and operational requirements
- Supporting theatre teams and maintaining strong relationships across the hospital
- Driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Mentoring and developing your team while fostering a positive workplace culture

About You
We're looking for an experienced CSSD professional who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role — or an established CSSD leader looking for a fresh challenge.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous CSSD leadership/management experience
- Strong knowledge of sterilisation, decontamination and instrument management
- Excellent understanding of relevant Australian Standards and infection prevention requirements
- Strong organisational and people-management skills
- A collaborative, hands-on leadership style
- Relevant CSSD qualifications and/or experience
