This is a highly specialised role where your experience in complex wound management following breast surgery is essential. You’ll work closely with the surgeon and wider team, providing hands-on clinical care and continuity for patients throughout their reconstruction and recovery journey.

The practice has been established for around eight years and is now entering an exciting period of growth.
The focus extends beyond surgery, with a strong emphasis on supporting women throughout their cancer survivorship journey and connecting patients with appropriate healthcare providers as their needs evolve.
About the role
As the Practice Nurse, you’ll play an important role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care, including:
- Managing complex wounds following breast reconstruction and surgery
- Providing post-operative wound care, dressings and ongoing clinical assessment
- Supporting patients throughout their surgical and recovery journey
- Educating patients on wound care and recovery
- Liaising closely with the surgeon and broader healthcare team
- Providing reassurance, continuity and a high level of patient support
You’ll be an experienced Registered Nurse with:
- Experience in reconstructive plastics, breast surgery or a similar surgical environment highly desirable
- Excellent clinical assessment and wound management skills
- A genuinely patient-focused approach
- Confidence working autonomously within a specialist practice
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- An interest in being part of a growing practice and helping shape its future
- Permanent position
- Full-time preferred, but flexible working arrangements considered
